23. Jan Ville Lope – Recommended by Computer Music
Computer Music’s first issue of the year brought a pleasent suprise. In their recommended section, they placed me in between Japanese techno wizard Ken Ishii and Wu Tang Clan’s RZA.
They picked up my remix of Tempo Giusto’s Running Out of Time and praised it followingly.
This is what they wrote:
This up and coming Finnish progressive trance and house producer is crafting a very dense and complex style. All of which is in contrast to the pared-down sound pervading dance at the moment. Have a listen to his forthcoming remix of Tempo Giusto’s Running Out of Time: there’s so much percussion in there that it’s scary, but somehow it all gels together perfectly.
