28. Apr Gig: 10 Years of Madwave, Helsinki 29.4.2009
This wednesday I’m playing in Helsinki, Finland. I’m honored to play the second time alongside Marcus Schössow. This is his 3rd visit in Finland and I’ve been able to be there each time.
The first time was in Pinky, Turku, where I played the opening set before Schössow in late 2007. In fall 2008 he played the mainstage in Colors Festival – I was there giving support to the audio visual team. Now it’s time to hit the decks again, as I’m opening the night before handing the duty to the globetrotting master himself.
The night is ended by Madwave main promoter Sergei Shkuroff playing back to back with finnish trance prodigy Anton Sonin. The lineup can’t be any better on a wednesday!

As you can see, the extragavanza continues on thursday, on mayday’s eve, which is a big event in Finland. The students celebrate all over the country, though it’s the labour day – namely. Anyhow, I’m hosting Marcus in Tampere showing all the vital places and feeding him local treats. Let’s see if I get him to eat some black sausage (Wikipedia).
