Hawk, born Håkon Lofthus in 1985, can be listed as one of the finest exports in norweigan trance scene. Hawk has found his style of choice: trance, or more defined as a hybrid between progressive and trance.
As a 22-year old Hawk is now signed to the major labels Anjunadeep and AVA Recordings, as well as Enhanced, Realmusic Recordings and Active Recordings. He is a heavily requested remixer and has layed his touch on tracks for labels such as Armada, Afterglow, AVA, Alter Ego and Enhanced Recordings. His tracks have been hammered from djs like Above & Beyond, Tiesto, PvD, Armin Van Buuren, Markus Schulz, Andy Moor and Matt Darey to name a few.
Even though his young age he already has years of experience as a dj across Europe. He has arranged some of the most successful parties in Norway, had numerous radio-residencies and are now quickly getting a name in the international scene as well. With lots of releases coming up, radio-residencies and dj-gigs, this will probably not be the last time youll hear the name Hawk or HKN.
